This wonderfully framed serigraph of Italian listed artist Afranio Metelli work is fantastic and well executed, this studio edition serigraph has been artist approved and is a nice mid century copy of an extremely talented artist.

Afranio Metelli was born in Spoleto, Italy, and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia.
In Vallauris, France his art works were exhibited with other resident artists among whom were Picasso, Pignon and Leger.
He has had on man shows at the Asterisco Gallery, the Jardin Des Arts Gallery, Numero Gallery in Rome and in Terni and Spoleto, Italy.
In addition he exhibited at the Gurlitt Gallery in Munich, Germany and the Souza Gallery in Mexico City.
Time Magazine had this to day about his show in Mexico. "Metelli has the taste to catch and examine thoroughly the human figure, with figurative ease and pictorial talent... we see that Metelli is a great artist of drawing and color and we cannot but give him credit for the discretion with which he uses tones and colors."
Please note as shown in the photos there is some small scrapes in the print at the neck of the mandolin.
